Ninja restaurants, with branches in Japan and overseas in Manhattan, are designed with an elegant ninja theme. So, for the logo design, I sought inspiration from Japanese feudal crests and samurai sword guards. To enhance international recognition, and to bring together Western and Oriental themes, Roman letters were preferred over Japanese kanji. The tapered lines playfully hint at ninja speed and stealth.
